I got the S/C TV Jones VT-HT's to get closer to that Poison Ivy/the CRAMPS, "Gretsch into a Fender amp tone", but no fuzz has given me that tone yet !

I hope the Watson Super Fuzz can change all that !

Here is my stable of lovely ladies...

Image

All my ladies are essentially virgins, and have not been "screwed" or "unscrewed" since the day they left the factory (with a few minor exceptions).

Starting at the top left:

  • 2007 DiPinto Galaxie - This is the five-way switch version, in 3-tone sunburst and tort pickguard.
  • 2006 '69 reissue Mustang, in cream and tort pickguard.
  • 2000 MIM Thinline Tele, woodgrain finish with mother-of-toilet-seat pickguard.
  • 2001 American Series Strat, 3-tone sunburst (my favorite guitar)
  • 1988 American made P-Bass (with Leo Quan Bad Ass II bridge)

Bottom left:

  • 1978 Ovation Celebrity (left to me in my step-father's will - rarely played)
  • 1966 Eko Ranger VI dreadnaught - Italian made, and tough as nails. Machines, bridge pins, and saddle have been replaced. Bolt-on neck, adjustable bridge, and zero fret make this a truly unique acoustic.
